Moonsplash!

840_moonsplash~ Anguilla's Positive Music Fiesta ~

BANKIE BANX is once again bringing Moonsplash to the Dune Preserve, Rendezvous Bay, in Anguilla. Friday and Saturday nights are big concerts under the full moon – Caribbean's reggae spirits come alive to perform for those lucky souls gathered to be a part of the magic. Tonight is the welcome party – a free meet and greet with the weekend's performers. The whole weekend is a trip – and culminates with a beach party on Sunday afternoon.

This Weekend: Make the trip over to celebrate the beautiful full moon with a Caribbean music jam, featuring the talents of Bankie himself along with a team of international entertainers as well as local performing artistes.

Schedule: Moonsplash is all about being immersed in music and positive vibes. Friday is International Night with Jah Cure, Omari Banks and The Mighty Mystic. Saturday is the night of legends with Third World, Freddy McGregor and Bankie Banx and his All Star Band. On Sunday, the beach party will feature Bankie and his All Star Band and local artistes Nyne, Roxxy and Timmie Webster.

Music & Moonlight: The son of Bankie, Omari Banks is riding a rising tide of the reggae river with his new single No Point to Prove. He is as wicked on the stage as he was on the cricket pitch! Jah Cure is no stranger to our islands, the Jamaican star rocks it nice and slow, he is not only in the groove, he is the groove! Third World is a band that takes control of an audience and holds it in the palm of its gnarly hands. There is no match for this kind of line-up – the event of the season for all who love the magical mix of music and moonlight.

Sponsors for Moonsplash include the Anguilla Tourist Board, Blue Water Rum, Caribbean Liquors & Tobacco (in Philipsburg, St. Maarten), CuisinArt Golf Resort & Spa, LIME, and Xerox. Promo Girls will be present flowing with plenty of Blue Water Rum. LIME too will be offering Top Up services, handset sales and giveaways. Coors Light will be the official beer beverage on sale.

Tickets cost US $45 per night ($100 VIP) and are available via the Dune Preserve, Anguilla Tourist Board and The Anguilla Access.

For Kids: Families with little ones might check out Kidzsplash which starts on Thursday at the Ronald Webster Park; the welcome party is at 6:30pm at the Dune Preserve.
