Launch of Grandiose Mascara!

Grandiose_270x244~ A Grandiose affair @ Vanity First ~

I was so excited to finally have a makeover and better yet, with none other than Lancôme makeup artist Alfred Solis.

Alfred is very focused; he is sweet and you can see that he loves what he does. Every guest who signed up had 30 minutes to be "done up" by Alfred. And man was it worth it! Makeover guests were also able to register for the chance to win a basket worth $350 of desired Lancôme products

Both a friend and I were very sceptical, even though we were excited. We both were worried about walking out of the place looking like clowns. I guess that's what happens when you get used to not wearing makeup. But of course the outcome was amazing as Alfred is a professional.

Grandiose Mascara

Lancôme is well-known for its mascaras; and Alfred was the perfect artist for the launch. While he was making me over, I asked him what it was about being a make-up artist that attracted him. He answered, "The eyes." His ability to really work with and bring out the best in the eyes, the windows to the soul, is exciting to Wilfred, and he does a good job of waking those up and making them look bigger and more vibrant with Grandiose Wide-Angle Fan Effect Mascara.

This revolutionary Swan Neck™ Wand Mascara provides exceptional length, lift and volume to all lashes. It features Lancôme's first patented wand, which works with the shape of your face for the easiest application, as the curve of the wand mixes the mascara with each twist open, allowing for formula that stays fresh longer. The specially designed, elastomer-moulded brush perfectly deposits formula on each lash, while smaller bristles effortlessly coat even short lashes from root to tip for ultimate volume. The ultra-black, smudge-free formula features Lancôme's rose cell extract, which nourishes and smoothes lashes while providing infinite buildability. This high-gloss, clump-free mascara leaves lashes fanned out with maximum length, and it is designed with long-wearing, flexible polymers that allow for easy removal.

The curved neck of the mascara is the first of its kind, so it was a big deal. But also that curved neck provides "more control," according to Actium account coordinator Vanessa Jimenez, who partnered with Vanity First to bring Alfred for the launch on St. Maarten.

Thanks go out to Vanity First for holding another wonderful makeover event. Now go and see for yourself what the Grandiose Wide-Angle Fan Effect Mascara can do for you!
