~ At Fitness Coaching ~
Hi, my name is Desiree Winkel, owner and founder of Fitness Coaching. I've been working for years now with Martijn Steffens, a manual therapist who runs his office in the same studio as mine. We work with clients, who are in pain, need to exercise and want to get healthy.
When we think fitness, we nearly always think WEIGHT LOSS. Why? I think it's because nearly everybody we know around us would like to lose weight one way or the other, from the belly, the hips, the legs or upper arms. There is always a place on that body that could look slimmer and more toned. Luckily over the last couple of years, not only women are more aware of their weight, looks and appearance, but men are too.
More beauty products are on the market, more commercials on television and more ads in magazines. So we all do agree that men are more aware of their appearance. Therefore, the average man intends to visit the gym or personal studio more than they used to. So when men and women go to the gym, why do men lose weight faster than most women? It's because men tend to have more lean muscle tissue, which burns more calories than body fat, even during rest. And when men and women cut the same number of calories, men usually do lose more weight but it's short-term.
So what are we doing in our FAMOUS weight loss training.
Basically, we would like people to subscribe who need to lose at least 10 pounds. Either for medical reasons, or just because they would look and feel better. Over the years, I have designed a very effective way to make people lose this weight in a fast way – not with shakes or eating only salads. NO!! Losing weight with shakes means success for a little bit and then gaining the same or even more back in no time.
First, the weight loss program is done with more people who want the same thing as you: LOSING THAT WEIGHT. We teach you that with eating, you still can lose weight; that if you make the good choices and combinations, you still can eat nice food. Positive thinking is also one of the major ingredients in our success. You will get exercise on our hydraulic machines (the only on Sint Maarten) that are very gentle for the joints. In such a short time, we will slowly bring you to a cardio level you thought was not possible. You will be amazed how you feel after the third week. My advice is to sign up with a friend or family. The fact that you don't do this alone will absolutely help you in your success.
We will teach you to train your body the right way and will explain to you why we do such exercises. In the beginning, you will either lose weight or lose measurements of your waist, legs and arms. Either way, halfway into the training, this will change to the opposite. Are four weeks enough? It's a start. You should see it as a kick-start. At least it will give you enough time (if that is your goal) to get close to what you want by Christmastime. Yes, ladies and gentleman, Christmas is around the corner and before we know it, we'll be going from one party to the other, one food event to the other, eating more than we want to. If you are strict from now on till Christmas, I can promise you those two weeks of Christmas and New Year won't harm you if you go back to your routine after those two weeks.
