Unwind on Saturday with DIY
Kooyman has taken a lead in helping to spread the word on breast cancer awareness, while helping women to unwind and create something awesome with its "Paint It Pink" workshop at Kooyman in Cay Hill this Saturday, October 17, from 5:00 to 9:00pm.
Kooyman has teamed up with the Elektralytes and Positive foundations for the event, which will feature games, a raffle (proceeds will go to the Elektralytes and Positive foundations), workshops, music, a Penha Beauty Corner, a Manrique Caprilles Skin Care Booth and a refreshing Tequila Rose Lounge.
Some 200 "lucky ladies" will get a chance to participate in a fun Pink Makita workshop to learn how to make their very own "pink" Wooden Tool Box. One lucky participant will also win a pink Makita Hammer Drill Set. How fun is that?
After the workshop, participants can unwind and de-stress with some Tequila Rose cocktails in Kooyman's Rose Lounge – thanks to CC1 – and get pampered with beauty treatments and skin analysis consultations by a team from Manrique Caprilles. A team from Penha will also be on hand offering makeovers at a special Pink Beauty Corner that will be set up in Kooyman.
The event will also feature Kooyman signature activities such as "Revamp Your Junk," where participants will get a chance to spice up their old picture frames, candleholders and other decorative items. You will be able to paint these items pink, add glitter and turn them from shabby to chic. You can also participate in the Paint it Pink booth to turn your glass bottles into pink crafty vases.
Makita power tools will give 200 free Pink Polo Shirts to participants.
